
AI as the New HR Backbone: Automation Process, Enhancing Decisions
The Department of MBA is organizing a seminar titled “AI as the New HR Backbone: Automation Process, Enhancing Decisions” on 5th February 2026 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the MBA Conference Hall. The seminar is designed to familiarize MBA students with the growing impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Resource Management and organizational decision-making.
The session will be led by Dr. M. Arun, Vice President & CHRO, Ideassion Technology Solutions, and a Human Potential Assessor, Coach & Mentor, who will share industry insights on the application of AI in HR automation, talent management, performance analytics, and strategic HR decisions. The programme is organized under the leadership of Dr. M. Venugopal (Dean – MBA), Dr. P.K. Anjani (Professor & Head – MBA) and coordinated by Dr. M.S. Kamalaveni (Associate Professor – MBA).
The seminar will also address emerging trends, ethical considerations, and future skill requirements for HR professionals in an AI-driven business environment.
This seminar aims to enhance students’ understanding of technology-enabled HR practices and prepare them for the evolving demands of the corporate world.
